Phoenixville Hospital Heart Station
According to the American Heart Association, cardiovascular disease impacts approximately 72 million Americans every year and is the leading cause of death in the United States.
Phoenixville Hospital has developed a comprehensive cardiology program to combat cardiovascular disease. The Heart Station is an integral part of this program and the fight against heart disease.
When you arrive in the Heart Station you will meet a compassionate and experienced staff member, who will conduct the test your physician has requested. In our new facility, located in the recently opened South Tower, we offer nuclear and non-nuclear cardiac stress testing, vascular ultrasound, echocardiography, EKG and holter monitoring, all of which provide valuable information that will assist your physician in the diagnosis and management of any cardiovascular disease. In addition to these non-invasive tests, the Heart Station is also equipped to provide certain minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures such as transesophageal echocardiogram, cardioversion and implanted defibrillator threshold testing. These procedures are conducted by our qualified cardiologists, certified nurses and highly-trained technologists.
You can be confident that your testing will be done in a professional manner. Our staff is prepared to give you the compassionate care that you need and to make your experience with us as comfortable as possible.
