Scheduling, Registration and Admission

Registration & Admissions

Healthcare can be complicated and we at Phoenixville Hospital want to simplify it as much as possible for you. Insurance cards, physician orders and/or referral information are needed when you arrive for registration 1/2 hour prior to any outpatient appointment.

Phoenixville Hospital will admit, transfer and discharge patients based on their healthcare needs and autonomous preferences without regard to their race, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, religion and/or their ability to pay. This commitment is grounded in our Code of Ethics as well as out of respect for the letter and spirit of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act (EMTALA) and the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA).

At Phoenixville Hospital, we have widened our horizons in order to accomodate working people. We now schedule various testing in the evening at both our hospital location and our Limerick facility. Our intent is to eliminate the need for working people to take time from their busy workday in order to have testing done at our facilities.

Patient registration hours are: Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The registration department is located on the first floor in the main lobby.
