filling out unfamiliar forms and answering financial and insurance questions.
The information below and the phone numbers that follow can help with this
process.
Phoenixville Hospital will honor assignments of insurance
benefits for 45 days from the date of billing to the insurance company. If, at
the end of 45 days, the insurance company has not settled the account,
Phoenixville Hospital will look to the patient for the final settlement of the
account.
Any patient having inadequate insurance coverage, or no
insurance coverage, will be requested to make appropriate deposits at the time
of admission.
Financial Counseling Services for Self Pay/Uninsured
Patients
If you cannot afford the cost of care, the hospital will
make every effort to assist you in identifying and applying for any federal,
state or local programs that may be available to you. The hospital will also
assist you in determining if you are eligible for COBRA benefits under any
previous plan. In the event you are not eligible for these programs, you may be
eligible for the hospital's Financial Assistance program or free services.
