Please note that room rates include food, nursing care, housekeeping and linen services. Additional items that have separate charges include operating room, recovery room, medical/surgical supplies, laboratory tests, X-rays, medication and personal care items. Services ordered by your physician will be recorded on your bill. Your attending physician and any specialists who participate in your care will submit bills separate from the hospital bill. Insurance does not cover some personal items such as television, and you will be asked to pay for TV separately. An itemized statement is available if you request it. You will be furnished with a statement for any balance due to be paid by you following payment by your insurance company.
